Each piece of equipment plays an important role in proving or disproving paranormal activity.We are always searching for the best equipment to stay on the cutting edge. Equipment Cases
To protect your investment when purchasing and building your equipment inventory it's always a good idea to spend a few extra dollars and invest in something to transport and store your equipment . Since most of the life of your equipment will be spent traveling to your investigation sites and storage, protecting it should be top priority. As you may know if you have been on investigations already, equipment can have a tendency to get dropped , shifted and bumped around during transport. We highly suggest getting several good cases. We have chosen these train type cases that come complete with foam rubber linings. You can easily cut out the foam to custom fit your equipment and are solid and durable.
EMF Detector
Our most most used and most helpful piece of equipment would be the E.M.F. detector. EMF detectors , While commonly used within the paranormal research field, helps to locate and detect fluctuations in the electromagnetic field.
EMF studies have shown a correlation with High EMF readings and claims of paranormal activity. Research and studies have shown that long exposure to high EMF can produce hallucinations and feelings of being being watched.
Dr. Michael Persinger, a cognitive neuroscience researcher and university professor, has conducted numerous controlled experiments dealing with EMF and has recreated hallucinations and paranormal type events by transmitting high EMF to the temporal lobes to case study participants. While not all paranormal events are the result of high EMF, the EMF detector will help locate and may help attribute to experiences if there is a finding of such EMF readings within an investigation.
Digital Handheld Audio Recorder
The digital handheld audio recorder is one of the two main
audio recording devices used today for investigations.
It is convenient and easy to use since it has no tapes
that need replacing or that can get ruined or worn out.
Digital Camcorder
The digital camcorder is used quite
frequently due to its user friendly makeup.
It is much less cumbersome than its earlier rival the
VCR camcorder. Once again, its not always
considered "foolproof" due to its digital nature.
However they are great cameras and we frequently use it.

Digital Infrared Laser Temperature Readers
35mm Film Camera
35mm cameras are great on investigations. When used in conjunction with digital cameras because you create more of a burden of proof for skeptics. Using 35mm cameras are great as it is less likely that someone would tamper with film than a digitally enhanced picture. Due to the large amount of digital software available today on the market for digitally enhancing pictures it is a plus to include a couple of 35mm's in your investigation.
Note* To capture an image on your 35mm that someone else has also captured on their digital camera makes the likelihood of tampering to be almost nonexistant.
Handheld Tape Audio Voice Recorder
The same rings true of the Audio type tape recorder. It is bigger than the newer digital models however it is harder to tamper with. The biggest pitfall of investigation and proof is that you have to be able to prove your evidence to the skeptics. Being somewhat skeptics ourselves we prefer a variety of digital and analog devices. We aim to provide the most extensive proof available. So it is very good to have a few of these in addition to your digital recorder.
